What inspired you to start a YouTube channel?
Watching others create videos really inspired me to start.
How long have you been active on YouTube?
I created my YouTube Channel back in June 2010
What do you think is the most rewarding part of being a YouTuber?
Receiving messages from my viewers who say that “I’ve made them smile today.”
Was there another YouTuber that you followed closely before starting your own channel? Perhaps someone you feel inspired by?
I watched a lot of Shane Dawson, Jenna Marbles, Community Channel, Toby Turner, Chonny the list goes on. I watched a lot of YouTubers and was inspired by a lot of them.
What is your creative process like?
I spend a lot of my time on public transport therefore I have a lot of time to think about things. a lot of my “comedic” videos come from conversations I have with my friends and co-workers at work.
When you look back at all of your videos to date is there a video in particular that you are specifically proud of?
My Cover Of “Milkshake – Kelis” was uploaded last year in October. Although I can sit and watch it back now and pick at the things that I would do better, I’m still very proud of it. I feel like that video was the first time I really showed off my musical abilities.
Do you have any other special talents that your fans might not know about?
I’m pretty open with my my audience I don’t think I have an other special talents. If I do they’re the ones who usually tell me, haha!
What would a typical day in your life include?
I actually work part-time at a fast food restaurant but on my days off I film, write new songs, spend time with family and friends.
What was it like when you first met some fans in real life?
It was pretty overwhelming it’s a bit bizarre that I have fans but I’m grateful for every single one of the #psychoz that watch me, haha they keep me going.
Have you ever had a concept that you found so amusing that you struggled to get through the video without cracking a grin?
Whenever I do my character “Ling Ling” I’m always laughing. The amount of outtakes I have when I make a Ling Ling video are endless.
Are there any milestones that you are aiming for?
Let’s get a million subscribers and rule the world – MUAHAHHAH!
What do you see for the future of YouTube?
I hope and believe that YouTube will take over the world! MUAHAHHAHA!
